I had posted a few times in the Now You're Talking - to a cancer patient thread in 2017 as I was about to start undergoing cancer treatment. I was asked by some posters to let them know how I was doing.

Last Thursday I had my final cancer treatment and I am now on watch and wait checkups. At the moment I am still recovering from my treatment and I aim to be back to my old 100% self next January.

Can we all run into the room and lift you up and down in a throwing hip hip hooray motion or is it too soon?

January is only a few heartbeats away, it will fly in and all be grand.

There are those who denigrate threads by smugly parroting redundant clichés like a "fork in the sugar bowl". You have my utmost respect, and best wishes with your remaining treatment.
    Thanks.

There isn't a family in the country that cancer hasn't gouged through. It's nice to see someone with a positive attitude after battling through an encounter with it.

Very best of all things good OP. :)

    Ms

So nice to hear of a nice story of someone beating cancer. I recently lost on uncle to it and in my parent's parish alone 6 people have died from it in the last couple of weeks. I have a cousin that has battled through it and an aunt that has had it too.

Best of luck OP and all the best for the future. Be positive and strong.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
