Nothing but praise for it here in Bray, I know it's fun to see your Nanny's house on the telly, but if nothing else surely the absolutely diabolical accents should be insult enough! (I'm not a Wicklow native, so I just find them really annoying).

    Anybody watching this tonight?

Watching it tonight, why would anyone put a gun inside a couch in the middle of a field, it would either be easily found or the couch burned on day 1.

It's like Byker Grove meets Love/Hate, can't understand the character mix at all.

There's a guy on Twitter praising the casting and acting. He's either related to them or something else.

Hate to admit this but I'm kind of looking forward to it next week. I'm one of the ones who slates it too. But there's something about it that I want to see. Maybe like watching a car crash. I like to watch it to ridicule it. The actor's are still not realistic, you can hear their slightly well spoken accents through the supposed heavy Dublin accents. Don't get me started on that scouser.

Stephen Clinch, real life criminal. Only released in the summer after a stretch for armed robbery.

Butsy's voice ......He sounds constipated..And the young mma fighter fighting a man in a cage that wouldnt fit two budgies....

That size cage is used in some amateur comps. However I thought the fight did nothing for the reputation of MMA, knees to the head are illegal in Amateur and then they showed the lad going through a torturous weight cut only to be fighting a fat aul lad.

I assumed Clinchy's inclusion is in the hope he does something stupid again and gets the program onto the front pages.

No really fair on established trained actors who auditioned for the part is it.

To be fair he is an established actor having been in Love/Hate and Cardboard Gangsters

Amateur's fight in competition size cages, I don't know what that was. Made MMA look terrible. Not forgetting too this kid is still in school and is been thrown into a PRO fight. The guy he fights too they announce his record as 17-2, while Damien is making his debut. That would never happen, the writing is just so lazy.

What I should have said is novice comps are in those small cages. The pro fight scene was filmed in SBG Tallaght so it's not as if there wasn't people around to ask if they were being realistic.

Ah here ffs this is absolutely laughable now :D Damiens brother is skeleton already in spite of only going missing the other day??

And the grave has to be the most shallow grave ive ever seen.. They should have just left him overground sitting in a deck chair altogether

In fairness if you look at it closely it's not a skeleton

I must look at it again. Thought it was a bone that was dug up.

I did as well and said it to the Mrs, who insisted on full VAR playback :D

Yep me too! Said to oh, it's not Wes because the body wouldn't be a skeleton yet! He also had to insist on rewinding it to confirm it was actually a finger!!

First of all how many shallow graves have you seen?

I'm just miffed that they can't get the MMA bits right, no way a debutante would fight a guy that's 17-3, considering that piece was filmed in SBG Tallaght and the ref is an actual referee (a really good one too) so there were people there to ask if they were being realistic, it just goes against the good work that was done in recent years by SafeMMA and the likes

Only 1 episode left and it’s been awful from very first episode.
Bray looks like an absolute kip in it. And completely lawless.
The acting is terrible especially the main character and his girlfriend. I think the best acting in it is Butsy and the young brother of the rival group.
And some of the scenes in it just make no sense, eg would you really go for a run up Bray head in the hrs leading up to your professional mma debut??
I’m only watch this because it’s so bad.

    :D

Ok i havent actually seen many graves being dug and certainly not in relation to gangland murders and I may be a novice in terms of questionning their hole digging techniques, but in all honesty if you've bumped off someone and wish to conceal the evidence then surely to god you would dig a far far deeper hole then that?

Watched the last episode, kind of the TV its so bad its good. Is this getting a second season? Ending was left very open.

Well over the half of the show is drone shots of bray and damien running in the hills. Abysmal writing, campy acting by alot of the cast.

Do u mean u watched next weeks episode on virgin media on demand??
The episodes on mine are 46mins meaning they only show up to the last ad break. I only noticed this last week as didn’t bother trying to watch in advance till then.
Is this deliberate not including the last part so u still have to tune in on the Monday night?? But they are advertising it as any VM customers can now watch the next episode with on demand. So was wondering if it’s a settings thing on me or something??

Ya on demand I watched it on. I saw the whole thing to the credits. The ads are shorter so 46mins is right for the run time.

Hmmm I only watched episode 5 on demand and it ended when Butsy got shoved into the car!!
I’ll try again with episode 6 as maybe some kind of technical error on 5. I just wondered if they deliberately held back the last part.

Episode 6 seemed to show till the end for me anyway. It wasn’t a bad episode in fairness, by far the best of the series.

Watching this series got me thinking, what would you do if you were born into a criminal family such as the keegan brothers as you become a teenager and man??
Would you embrace a life of criminality, violence, killing others and living under risk of being killed, always looking over your back for cops or rival gangs, but also the highs of not having to do a regular job and having the sometimes riches and extravagant holidays and parties that this world brings.
Or would you tell ur family to f*k off that life just isn’t for you, move out probably have to move town maybe even country, and try to make your own way legally in life?? Tho this option would be tough for a 16/17 year old to have to do.
