The Kelly Family were fairly well known over here back in the 90's.

Irish trad has kept Irish people in employment all around Europe for years.

Estonian Celtic heavy metal music is a thing too.

I used to rent a house off a fella that toured Northern Europe all year.

The Germans have long had a strange soft spot for mystical tripe from Ireland - even the NAZI's were intrigued by it.

They also have an apocalyptic taste in popular music.

Yeah, but their alternative stuff tends to be pretty good, hip-hop, punk, metal

Were they the crowd living on a riverboat? Remember seeing them on Top of the Pops a few times back in the 90s

There's a huge band in Serbia called The Orthodox Celts, with their biggest hit, 'The Rocky Road To Dublin'

Ya that was them. They also lived in a beautiful house in Cork harbour during the nineties.

25 years ago in Luxembourg I was asked about The Kelly Family & I hadn’t a clue who they were. They were big in Germany & Luxembourg back then. They are Irish-American that’s why we hadn’t heard of them.
