Posting on fb, garda checkpoint and speed camera's, its a search!

Hopefully its not this, but with the darkening nights and a bank hol just gone, higher odds of it being.

    FB post:
RESCUE 115 (EI-ICA) is now safely back at Shannon after tasking to Salthill, tasked along with Galway RNLI Lifeboat, Galway Gardai & Galway Fire Service, full search completed by air, sea & shore & nothing to report, all units stood down

The Gardai have their own Helicopters & Aircraft for that & they would not hover so low over a "checkpoint" over a built up area. It was a search involving Galway Gardai, Fire Service, Ambulances & Galway Lifeboat, the helicopter was an Irish Coast Guard Search & Rescue Helicopter from Shannon, thats Rescue115.

You misunderstand, the name of the Facebook page is "Garda checkpoint and speed traps".
It's an alert page for speeders, tax and nct evaders as to where to avoid getting caught by the Gardaí.
