The Citroen C1, Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo are all the same car build in the same factory in the Czech Republic.

I know I'm in a minority with my grá for these yokes, but I can't not post this here!

NCT till the end of August 2020, 1.3 16V Efi, 5 speed, and 3 spokes!! All for €895. Would love this

    I'm very tempted...

    Same owner since 09 too!

I really don't need yet another car though :(

Only 3 owners too, I'd say it hasn't had much abuse.

For my own sake I'm glad its on the other side of the country!

It's not far from me but I doubt it's a very quick car like the ad says.

    If it had a turbo....

It's not far from me but I doubt it's a very quick car like the ad says.

100bhp and weighs circa 800kg it'd be nippy enough in a quick for what it is type of way.

There is/was a red lightened/partially stripped starlet in Scotland running that same jap engine mated to a six speed box and 4.5 final drive and by all accounts it's a surprising package, it weighs closer to 700kg though so that'd help.

I know it might be a bit superficial, but I wouldnt be keen on dealing with someone whose going to put the wrong reg plate on a car.

Overall they tend to be decent enough cars, with plenty of room in the cabin if that's a concern.

Not much between them. Can only answer that by driving them and giving them a good look over.

I’ve 2 at home. I’d go for the one with the aftermarket stereo fitted.

Check boot lock as both of mine have issues locking, look for high revs when changing gear (sign of clutch starting to slip).

Have offered him 600 . He says 700 lowest .
But think I'll stick with 600.

No . Not yet but if he's not willing to come down abit more I won't be ,

Over the phone you won't get anyone down. It annoys many as they end up never coming anyway.

If it checks out thought it would be madness to lose a car over such a small amount. Especially at that price point.

Don’t ask for discounts over the phone. Show him €500 in cold hard cash, see what happens :)
Sellers hate people who look for a discount without even showing up.

I'm not a regular seller or buyer but I wanted a quick sale no messing. I priced car keenly for sale and agreed price over phone and said no messing. Guy was true to his word and car was described so he was happy.

I guess it depends on the situation but that haggling situation for me I wouldn't be a fan of.

You gotta have a haggle man.

Yeah I know but only need it for a couple of weeks. As my 93 corolla is in for bit of maintenance

Have to agree with other posters, anyone that tried to to haggle over the phone without seeing the car would be told to PFO. If you’re interested, have a look at the car and make an offer

I’d love to drive something like that all the way across Europe to Baku and fly home without it as an adventure.

So what would you guys think of this? Is there an issue with the 1.4 engines?

They are very very slow, as that model is quite a heavy car, so 98bhp doesn’t go far.
Not sure if the timing chain issue was resolved for that model, but they certainly have the same death rattle as the older ones.

If you like your cars to feel ‘solid’ and don’t mind if it verges into ‘lumpen’, then fire ahead. I don’t get the appeal of them anyway.

To be honest it’ll only be doing a 5k journey into the city centre, whilst stuck in traffic, the odd time it’s needed.

Jaysus that fiat panda is a shocking looking car! Couldn’t bring myself to purchase that.
    Thanks though.
