Number porting -- opening hours

    Can anyone tell me the opening hours of the number porting service?

    Is it 9-5 or better than that?

    I'd say better than that. I ported last Saturday afternoon, and I know someone who was ported at 8 this morning, but each network might have its own arrangements

    What network ?? .. they can vary how they do things.

    Oh I thought there was a central porting operation... in this case the number is porting to Eir

    Eir / GoMo is 8:00AM to 6:00PM for porting - usually is business hours across the board.

    I have "Your port in is in-progress" since yesterday 8:00 am.

    So about 29 hours now - Is this normal?

    Porting from Virgin Mobile.
