Best selection of laptops to choose from in Dublin

I'm shopping for a new Windows laptop, and I'm wondering what shop in Dublin has the best selection? I heard curry's in Jervis shopping centre is the best?
My budget is 1000-1500.

The Lenovo website is having a flash sale at the moment. 10% off a lot of their stuff, and if you sign up for their newsletter you'll get an additional 10% off.

It's not a B&M store but you won't do much better in one.

Any Curry's would be good. Not sure you'll have a whole lot in that price range. I'd also look online, Dell in particular, if that's what you have to spend.

Buy online. See if theres a refurbished option. Really no need to be spending 1500 on a laptop.

Thats a fine budget to have but getting a laptop online is definately the best option. Before you do, please define your needs as in this day and age, you can get a insanely good laptop in the €600-800 range. Will you be using it for office, browsing etc or gaming, video editing.

More electrical retailers will have Lenovo. Pretty sure Dell is only online. You can spec out a machine and put it on this thread for feedback. I'd also echo the comment about budget and leave your limit at no more than €1100 .

Portability is important so I need a Thin and light with decent battery life. For my needs I think i5/8gb/256gb will suffice, it will be used for onenote, word, web research. I was thinking a dell xps 13 7390 clamshell or surface laptop 2/3.

That's a good budget for what you need , you'll get something fantastic in that range. Have a read online for reviews when you narrow down a particular model...I just bought this , I'm using it for gaming but it's portable and light and they have a cheaper version in I5 config.

Scope out Amazon , Komplett.ie , box.co.uk , overclockers.co.uk , dell.ie and see who is offering the best price.

Just out in the config you are looking for and browse through the models narrow it down to 2-3 and check the reviews vs price etc...

Bought a DT from a similar crowd before and it lasted for years. Unless you plan on designing, gaming 1000-1500 is way OTT
