Faf makes Murray look like an aged schoolboy

This is exactly how we should have seen out the pool game against Japan

After 8 line outs and 8 mauls we get the try, from the halfway line.

Joe Schmidt would be proud of this second half performance by South Africa. An exhibition of a suffocating display.

This could potentially turn into a high scoring game for SA before the end. Japan look out on their feet.

    Busted flush.

Sayonara Japan. RSA on a real push here. Could be a painful loss. Probably not as bad as Ireland yesterday mind lol.

    Probably a hiding now

Not the most creative team, but certainly effective and efficient. Rassie has done a stellar job

Interesting one v Wales. Don't expect it to be pretty, and probably low scoring up the jumper stuff, but I reckon it'll be very tight

You know, an England-Wales final is not out of the question.

Be a long 10 mins for them now.

Nearly lost it when I saw le Roux in that move.

Felix Jones, only Irishman left in the World Cup, who would have thought that a few months ago.

The covering Japanese player could have made a tackle there but instead ran all the way up to him and tried to grab him round the shoulders. FFS. Schoolboy stuff.

One part of that equation has a possibility close to zero! Reckon we may be back to the first great match of this RWC.

Do SA team not like Kolbe, maybe they can't pass off left hand.

Putting things in context, Ireland would have beaten neither of the teams in the this match.
Been a great game and high tempo power, Ireland's slow position kicking would have been eaten up.

Jesus, I am going to have to watch Wales in a world cup final, kudos to Gatland, the master of the long game.

So only 1 competitive game out of the 4 quarter finals.

This could be a bit tragic.

    Valiant attempt by Japan.

That had to be one of the worst cover tackles I've ever seen

Well, this is finally really satisfying to watch.

I'd have loved us to have met that SA team.

We should never have lost to Japan. That was the real end of our WC

Cant we all just agree to blame Scotland for not beating them? :D

Matsushima is electric but his defence is awful.

Only been about 24hrs and the Irish rugby fan delusion kicks in again, Ireland would not beat either of these teams

    Mapimpi Player of the Match.

How do we think this is looking?

All the favourites won this weekend. Is that the first World Cup where that's happened for a while? 2015 had Argentina upsetting Ireland, in 2011 Wales beat Ireland. and in 2007 France beat NZ.
