You may have a point about the Top 14 but France only beat the Pumas and Tonga by 2 points in the pool stage and could easily have lost to both of them.
Much improvement is needed between now and the 2023 WC.

Did France get a top 2 finish at all since 2011 in 6 nations?

Could really do with a big campaign next year. England and Ireland at home

Come on Bokke, make us proud.

Best of luck jaco, but personally I'll be shouting for the other side ;)

Ara Scottish rugby are too inoffensive. No-one can dislike them!

Except anyone relying on them to get a result. :)

I'd say it's so sweet for Welsh supporters reading this forum :D

The Irish don't half do bitterness. :pac:

They turn up in big games, make WC semis and with a smaller playing pool

    They're a lesson to us

Be delighted to see such a proud rugby nation in the final
I doubt that Wales have a smaller playing pool than us .

Just watched a replay of the wales last try again, apart from the obvious forward rip the wales scrum half is standing in front of the french scrum half?! On frances own scrum?!

Lads Peyper was the referee. Why is anyone still surprised when he totally ****s up a massive game defining moment?

Please no yellow or reds, just a straight up game.

We definitely have more dept and our provinces wipe the floor with their regions, however, on paper it could be argued that their starting 15 is as good as ours.

Ireland would love to have the likes of Liam Williams, Jonathan Davies, Navidi, Toby Faletau(if fit) and Dan Biggar(wouldn't start ahead of Sexton but who knows on form) etc. Theres also alot if arguable ones, is Rory Best that much better than Ken Owens? Gareth Davies cant pass but offers something different to our scrum halves... North and Stockdale are a much of a much.
I’d take Dan Biggar over todays Sexton all day every day . Sexton is just too fragile any more . Ironically for Sexton a lot of the type of tackling that has made him so fragile looks likes its going to be outlawed just as his career is on the downward path / ending .

Wales to me looked a bit tired. I really do think in all 3 games we’ve seen the benefit of last week off. England France and NZ all looked to have more in the tank

No, that would Vanaaaaaa-long-name and his elbow! Peyper was merely crap!

It's their national sport. No native sports competing with it.
Of course they will generally be a match/better than Ireland.

The non-trolls here love rugby but it's still a very minority sport in Ireland

Japanese blocking the SA kick chasers isn’t exactly subtle

    Ominous. Hon Japan

That's a very soft try to concede from Japan's point of view.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,132 ✭✭✭✭is_that_so

I see what japan are trying to do but they could have the stuffing knocked out of them long before the Boks get tired. Their scrum will be crushed.
