    Howdy folks,




    Just wondering about something I saw this morning,
    Heading up to Ballymun and saw 2 Black Mini-Vans( Mercedes I think)
    with blacked out windows and flashing blue lights on them.
    No escort though.


    Is there a Private Security Firm working the North-Side?


    Anyone have any ideas?

    Pretty sure that legally only emergency services are allowed blue flashing lights so that would rule out a private security firm.

    Chinese tourists on safari in some of our less savoury neighbourhoods. They're very keen on blacked out mini vans on city breaks. Maybe they need private security to protect all that expensive camera equipment and the designer clothes. :D

    Deffinitely Not X5s, I know my vehicles and these were about the size of Mercedes Vito mini-vans, but with blacked out windows.

    Varadkar flew to the UK today for a meeting with Boris Johnston? Maybe that? Though Ballymun would be an odd choice if coming from the Dail but maybe he was somewhere else first?

    Or... a climate change protestor stopped a plane taking off from the airport this morning? Maybe anti-terrorist Gardai attending before they knew the full story?

    That flight was coming to Dublin wasn't anything to do with that.
