A wheeled vehicle for getting through deep floods

Hi I know this is an unusual one but would anyone on here know anything about a vehicle with wheels that exists or could be built to safely drive on a hard road surface through a flood. I am wondering if anything exists or could be modified so that a person could be above the flood in a cab which is preferably covered in.…

Hi I know this is an unusual one but would anyone on here know anything about a vehicle with wheels that exists or could be built to safely drive on a hard road surface through a flood. I am wondering if anything exists or could be modified so that a person could be above the flood in a cab which is preferably covered in. Could the cab be raised on hydralic rams depending on the flood depth. The flooding is caused by seasonal floods. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

have a look at a Mercedes Unimog say on www.mobile.de or autotrader it will give you an idea of thats out there for sale all the various models prices etc, ?
