New Battery but still not charging?

    Hi. I have a ZTE nubia Z7 max. About 6 weeks ago the charge just went bust, no warning signs whatsoever. I assumed it was the battery so ordered a new one. Same story. Cant even get past 0%!!.Ive tried different chargers and done the usual usb charging port cleaning/tweaking. Is this possibly the usb charging port thats faulty? Is there a fix? Any suggestions?     Most likely, you don't know the extent of the damage caused by the charger. A new Z7 max is only $105 off AliExpress but it might be time to consider a change to a new phone as the repair alone for it would likely cover the cost of a replacement. Happy to give recommendations?

    Hi. I actually have the new Redmi Note 8 on the way to me as we speak! I just wanted a backup battery for the Z7 as there is still important stuff saved on the phone (I know, stupid me!). I did check on Aliexpress for an entire new usb charger board-they seem to have every ZTE model available but not the Z7!! Thanks for your reply.

    Yep. Tried everything at this stage. Unfortunately Id say its a bigger issue like a faulty usb port or worse still, a hardware issue. Stuff I know feck all about:o

    I actually received a message asking if I wish to have it sent sealed in the box(Its Chinese ROM) or opened and flashed with a stable Global ROM for no extra cost!
    They also included a link on how to install Google Play on a Chinese ROM model.
    Its actually available now for under €162 for the 4GB 64GB model (Mi Global Store Aliexpress). That includes DHL and customs paid:eek:
