05 CRV auto stuck in 2nd gear

    hi folks, am stuck here, would appreciate any help.. Engine is off and i cannot remove the key from ignition as you can only do this when in P or N.
    The column shift is stuck in 2nd. I don't normally use the low gears but this has happened before on occassion where i've accidentally gone beyond D and into 2 - got back into D by shifting down to 1 then back up to D. However this time the shifter will not budge beyond 1&2..

    thanks greasepalm - saw that video but am sorted. After several attempts of jiggling the shifter between 1 & 2, it eventually moved and i got it to D.
    I'm thinking its sheer lack of use (zero use actually apart from the 1 in a 1000 times i accidentally pass through D and engage 2nd by mistake) that in effect 2nd is a 'rusty cog'
