Haven’t used these but might be worth a look
    https://fordkeys.ie/about-us/

It’s linked to “locks” on Capel St.

And despite following the instructions on the website and emailing a request, no call.

What is it with key places in Dublin?

Autokey are not the only crap place.

Sooooo, just an update for the benefit of anyone that needs a similar key. Spotted an advert on facebook and sent the guy a message. He quoted me 120 euro. Yes, 120 euro.

Went up to him this morning and it took him 30 minutes.

So recap, half the price of Autokey Newlands Cross ( and even then they didnt arrange to do it),

Someone here suggested fordkeys.ie, but the site says email for a quote. I did and heard NOTHING back.

Then I stumbled across carkeydublin.com He did it in 30 mins with no messing.

Credit where credit is due, and remember who messed around and didnt bother.

I sent him a photo of the key required. He said no problem.

He supplied the whole shebang. I arrived around 10am this morning and was back in the city centre for 11am.

I just delivered the car and the one working key.

    Very impressed.

Thanks op, I've ordered a key twice in the last 6 months through my nearest garage and haven't heard a thing back since. I was quoted "around €200" as well, so a double thank you.

Please do report back how you get on. I spoke to this fella on messenger about two weeks ago. Then when I had the cash together, I sent him a message on Friday asking was Saturday ok. He said yes.

    Now I am sorted.
