Dennis is in a good few episodes. The media who seen the preview screenings have confirmed it.

    He's still a bastard man

Wasn't gone on the first episode myself..

.. the dynamic just wasn't there
    with Mindy Kaling.

The episode felt very off,Mindy is very one track in everything she does.I like the Mindy Project but mostly because of the supporting cast
I also thought the camera was off with shooting behind the cast looking at one person.

In comparison to the other episodes very poor.

Mindy Kaling could be the end of IASIP. No need at all for her. Very weak first episode. It was like it was trying too hard to be IASIP if that makes any sense.
I love the show and hope i'm wrong.

Wasn't a great episode I thought, I'm assuming the series will get better. Mindy just doesn't work in the show. I hope her character is short loved

Thats exactly what I was thinking!
The whole speech in the strip was so out of place aswell.

    Kinda conflicted on this one.
Mindy character just does not fit in at all, but not just that,
her existence was borderline inconsequential to the plot where it so easily could have been Franks "plan" the story would have played out exactly the same nearly.

    On the other hand,
if she was purposely written as a screw you to the fans only for the final reveal to take it back, then well played.
<- I hope this is true

I dont think it would have worked with Frank, there is no reason to believe that with Frank as a "leader" they would be successful (also Frank is depraved :D)

I also think the contrast between Kaling and the Golden God added to it

Have watched the first episode again and enjoyed it a lot more the second time.

    Once you know
she's getting kicked out of the gang at the end of the episode
it's a lot easier to enjoy.

The scene in the strip club where
they all admit they are trying to force it without Dennis,
plays really well the second time round.

It's basically an admission that there's no way they could continue the show if one of the gang wasn't there.

Not him necessarily being the new leader of the gang, but just that one particular plot line of wanting to get one over on a rival bar/improve Paddys

After a less than impressive start to the new series the past two episodes were fantastic.

This weeks episode may just be one of my all time favorites.

I thought Dennis in episode 4 was absolutely brilliant especially near the end

I watched the new episode this morning. Very funny in parts. Cringing at other parts in a funny way.

I never got level of cringe before, maybe it’s just me. The Airbnb parts were on the next level at times. Very funny I might add.
