Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What sort of accommodation? Where? Looking for a house at least can be hard.

Live the same side of the city to work to avoid the traffic mayhem.

Rents are crazy so good luck finding anything reasonable.

No harm sticking an ad in the Galway Advertiser under accommodation wanted. You could get lucky.

I guess queuing up outside the Advertiser office on a Thursday morning isn't a thing any more ;)

Property Section came out on a Wednesday. You would have missed all the good stuff waiting until the rest of the paper came out on Thursday :pac:

The best sites to watch for are daft.ie and rent.ie. I personally had a lot more success with rent.ie. There is also one major Facebook group where you can look for accommodation.

I would rather suggest finding a property management company and ask them for available accommodation in the area you wish. If you are a student, you might also consider taking help from Student Accommodation Helpdesk at NUI Galway and studentlaunchpad.
