Change electric shower to cold mains feed

There is no guarantee that your mains pressure & flow is sufficient for a mains fed shower. Irish water have reduced the water pressure so much over the last few years that electric showers that worked perfectly for decades will no longer heat the water due to bad pressure. We are ripping out several mains fed showers per week and replacing them with tank fed showers.

The money you are saving between the cost of the mains fed shower & the tank fed shower will most likely go to the plumber to convert the pipe work. There is no guarantee that you will be happy with the end result.

Best advice I can give you is to return the mains fed shower or sell it on Donedeal and buy a Triton t90sr silent electric shower
