Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stay in the green if we freeze again.

    Or if we "sink"

In what way please? Human coping? If so then we deep rural dwellers who rely little on sophisticated resources and are used to growing food etc will outlast others .

Dublin. They'll have collected so much tax they'll be able to buy themselves out of whatever problem global warming causes them

Looks like the Golden Vale wins out. The southern slopes of the Galtees should keep you safe.

unfortunately it looks like cork is your best bet a lot of the city is on hills and their airport is high up so won't be affected

Cork City Centre will be in bits unless massive flood works are done, and having the hills isn't much use if the power/water/sewage/main roads are out due to being under water.

probably no parts. the trouble with global warming is its gonna effect everything not just sea level, my main worry is that it'll pretty much end civilization and if that happens then pretty much all bets are off.
