Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Free Berlin Marathon entry for guide runner

    FREE Place in Berlin marathon up for grabs!

    I've a friend looking for someone that is prepared to guide a quick blind runner (3hours 15mins pace) in the Berlin Marathon on 29th September this month. Ideally as a guide you would be fit enough to do approx 3 hour marathon yourself to be comfortable at 3hrs 15min pace. It’s a very rewarding thing to do.

    There might be some funding available for costs of transport / accommodation but not certain of how much. Let me know ASAP if you are interested or know someone off boards who might be.

    $hit, I'd like to do this but I'm about 4 weeks short of being in shape I reckon. Shame. It must be a tough gig as well though. Maybe better to start off with a nice slow runner. Best of luck with it.

    Would love to do this but unfortunately I am injured. I was meant to be doing the marathon myself aswell.

    But keeping on point if anyone wants to do the guide pacing for this person I will give them my flight out on teh Saturday morning to Berlin and back on the Sunday night from Dublin. All they would have to pay is the name change.
