There doesn't seem to be an abundance of evil women in history

    Why is that

Catherine Nevin, Maye West and Elizabeth Bathory are the only three I can think of off the top of my head

I dunno, what's your criteria for evil, killing people?

Google infanticide and browse through the news tab.

    Rosemary West?

    Myra Hindley?

    Margaret Thatcher?

    :pac:

I'll say one thing about her - she wasn't the Mae West.

Because they’re overshadowed by the sheer amount of men who committed all sorts of violence, something in the ratio of 10:1 in favour of men who’s histories have been recorded. Women don’t appear to have kept records of their endeavours.

    Why is that
I'm sure they just didn't get the chance due to the patriarchy keeping them under subjugation.

What did Mae West do that was so evil? Made some humorous, bawdy comments in public every now and then?

    No love for Empress Wu?

    Why is that

Patriarchy basically. When we kept the wimmins in the kitchen making sandwiches between bouts of popping out their malnourished victorian fúck-spawn, they didn't have much time to be out there killing besides having the odd foray into poisoning their husbands and children.

Then we let them out of the kitchen and some have had modest success at being evil. Professions such as nursing have actually had quite a bit of success in promoting equality in terms of murder but they still have a long way to go.

I'm not sure how we reduce this gender gap but maybe it could be done with gender quotas or maybe we could teach girls early on in schools that being a serial killer isn't just for boys. If we empower these girls early and cultivate their self-confidence, maybe we'll start to see some tangible results in 20 odd years.

There isn't really an abundance of women in history nevermind evil ones.

There was a very small number of women up until the year 2000. That's when their population went out of control.

What is it now, like 20% of all people alive are women? Crazy.

I ran a google search on famous witches in history - yes, just for this thread!

I have to say there was some really wild stuff back then, really sick people - and I dont mean the witches....

Magda Goebbels didn't want her children to live in a world without Hitler so she poisoned them.

Didn't Catherine the Great of Russia have a bit of a Stalinist attitude to the Ukraine?

Winnie Mandela, nasty piece of work

Fond of necklacing suspected police informers, that is putting a burning tyre around someone

Convicted of kidnapping. She ordered her bodyguard to slit the throat of a 14 year who was suspected of being a police informer

You need power for real evil. Women (and people forget, 99.9% of men too) traditionally hadn't much power ... however when they got some they proved themselves capable of just as much evil as men ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aung_San_Suu_Kyi - Rohynga massacres and arresting journalists

Elizabeth I oversaw some of the plantations of Ireland ...

    And this lovely "lady"
    https://www.thevintagenews.com/2018/09/21/elizabeth-bathory/

And of course the women in charge of the female side of the nazi concentration camps ...

    Our lovely Magdalene Laundry nuns.
