    I have neither.
I was tempted to get both when I was younger but I always talked myself out of it for one reason or another.
I wanted a small tattoo but people with sleeve.etc sort of turned me off it.
For some strange reason I wanted to get my ear pierced in the last few years but most lads my age now have stopped wearing there's and I feel I'd be a bit old to be starting off.(Late twenties).

Have you any tattoos or piercings?

I have 8 ear piercings and my nose pierced, and 4 tattoos. Don't let people put you off small tattoos, get one if you want it! You're definitely not late starting off, I've a colleague who just got his first and he's in his 40s.

No but I've been considering a tattoo recently.. the stigma against them in the workplace is mostly gone now according to a recent poll and I've started to view them differently since I started painting, they're not just for wannabe hardmen and hipsters

    No.

I had my ears pierced for my communion. I got a say, of course. But I just didn’t care for earrings, I discovered, and they frequently got infected. So the holes have long since closed over.

Tattoos - I’m fine with people having them. I just don’t want one. I’ve never seen one I liked the look of really, including very high quality ones. It’s something about the faded look the ink takes on when in the skin that I just don’t like. I would have always probably preferred potential boyfriends to not have tattoos but it wouldn’t have been a deal-breaker.

I've six tattoos, all small and none of which are visible while I'm fully clothed. Have my ears pierced but never wear earrings and I had my bellybutton pierced a million years ago but took it out as I'm viciously allergic to nickel and even the trace amounts in surgical steel were *not* liked by my body and back then that was pretty all that was available in terms of jewellery.

I've a few, in the process of getting two covered up also :o

Had my tongue, lip and nipple pierced but they're all long gone :p

I hate seeing young people with whole sleeves tho, I think you need some life experience before you go that far, probable judgemental on my part by hey :p

No Tattoos or piercings. Never had any interest in getting them and would put it down to the conservative Irish attitude that tattoos, especially in men, were a bad thing. Ironically, maybe hypocritically, I've found the can be very attractive in girls if done in a discreet way. Remember one girl who seemed very reserved and you'd never imagine she had any tattoos but she had 3 or 4 small ones in sexy places (one was only visible when she was waxed or trimmed in her pubic area and it was such turn on). I think that's the key for me. A tattoo that's only visible and shared with someone you are intimate with is a huge turn on. It's like learning a secret or something that you know was done with this sort of intimacy in mind. But one that the world can see is not so attractive to me. Another girl had a nipple piercing. Never liked the look or feel of that.

I got my first one - a half sleeve when I turned 41 .. I spent about 10 years talking about getting one and eventually the wife told me to shut up and paid for it as a birthday present ... no regrets yet ! I’m old enough not to give a monkeys about what anyone else thinks about it and enough life experience for it to actually mean something that not just a generic ‘carpe diem’ type nonsense

No tattoos. I went to a parlour in NYC once for one after work. He booked me in for 2 days later till I definitely decided what I wanted but I lost my nerve.
Piercings I had about 8 in my ears ,mostly homemade, (big mistake) and my nose pierced. All closed up now. I kinda don't even like seeing fellas with earrings now. Old age I suppose

have a Prince Albert and used to have both nipples done.

I remember going in to Snakebite to get the nipples done years ago. The guy that was doing it called the female piercer in. As I sat in the chair, she took my hand and said "squeeze as hard as you need to". I was thinking to myself "I won't need to. I already have my lad pierced, how bad can this be?". Jesus, I nearly took the hand off her when the needle went into the first one.

Took the nipple rings out when my first daughter was a baby. You don't need a 6 month old child grabbing them at 3 in the morning as you're carrying her down the stairs for a feed.

I have a design done for a tattoo that I keep meaning to get. A single piece for upper arm or shoulder. But I never seem to get around to doing it. I've designed tattoos for a few of my friends over the years.

Labret is my only piercing, had it for probably 20 years now. Just the one tattoo, had it done for my 30th birthday after having no interest in them whatsoever for years. Luckily its meaningful to me and is not a girls name so I should presumably never regret it.

Hape of tattoos, it's been a while but I have my next one planned. Just a few ear piercings but have had nose, tongue and belly button ones in the past. Not many people but myself and my partner would ordinarily see the tattoos but that's as much to do with how I dress as where the tattoos are. People are generally surprised to find out I have them, or have the amount I do. Plenty skin left and years to fill it in sure :)
