Hey Uncharted, are you trying to have that second post as a second vote for Burger Bites? Looks dodgy...

*Squints suspiciously at the maniacal moustache twirler*

I'd have gotten away with it too, only for those pesky kids :pac:

I copped that myself and had to edit a post. I'll give the benefit of the doubt cos Uncharted is a valued member of this Crispmunity.

I voted for Burger Bites, but to be fair, Dorys are a quality Irish crisp. If I wasn't being sentimental I would maybe change my vote to Dorys, but I am being sentimental.

And btw, ridged crisps have no place inside white bread. It's degenerate.

Just following along here too and you're spot on with the counts. Might need to you tally up a few for me if that's ok?

Sorry Candie but I think you're too late to row in on what a 'crisp' is at this stage. These issues should've been brought up at the beginning tbh. We are at the 1/4 final stage now for gods sake. With all that has gone on here, the place was turned upside down at one point last night, I thought it was game over.....We need to focus on the remaining crisps, yes crisps! and find our true winner

Fine, I know when I'm not wanted. :(

    It's 19-18

Burger Bites because when you finish the packet your fingers are coloured orange and all prepared for licking. Hunky Dorys simply dont deliver the same level of digits in mouth as Burger Bites.

Section 16.5 of the tournament rules states that in the event of a draw after extra time, chickatees will progress.

come on you casual non crisp enthusiasts, get your vote in!! A vote for the burger is a vote for Old Ireland! (or something stupid like that?!)

    Bacon Fries
Just started to type my vote entry and all of a sudden as I pressed the H for Hunky Dories, some voice from the dark recess of my my childhood whispered 'you used to love Burger bites, remember? You do remember don't you?' And I do.......... I do remember,
It was a mile and a half cycle to the shop and if you didn't ask for it, your mother usually told you that you could get something for yourself but only up to 20p and so throughout the journey on the oversized bike that your cousin was getting rid of you thought about your choices and what was the best way to use this gift . Choices included a range of penny sweets, a mars bar (yes I'm that old that a Mars bar cost 20p when I was a child) or a bottle of that 'real cola' which didn't really taste real but it blew your head off if you drank it in one go, but then, it was gone too quick... But maybe there was a way to maximise this opportunity.
By the time you got there, your mind was made up but you still told yourself to have a good luck around and make sure you didn't miss anything. And then you did it, you gathered the unimportant messages for your mother, and then selected your item, no, your 2 items. A chomp, and a packet of burger bites. It felt so right, you smiled with that sense that you had made the right decision. You gathered your messages in the plastic bag (before plastic bags were bad for the environment and started your cycle home.
Part of you wanted to leave them in the bag until you got home and then to be able to relax and enjoy them at your leisure but you had a flock of brothers and sisters and they would see your gifts hidden in the bag with their xray vision as you turned the cross and enjoying them peacefully was out of the question. So, you decided you'd eat the burger bites on the way home, so, you held them with your left hand and hung the shopping bag from the right handlebar to free up the fingers of your right hand and then you ate as you cycled. This method usually meant a wobble or two as you picked a burger bite out of the bag and the weight of the shopping caused the wheel to spin and on terrible occasions, you actually dropped a burger bite on to the ground. This was your first experience of time freezing as you looked down and saw the rear wheel roll unerringly over the burger bite lying harmlessly on the road and crushed it beyond recovery. But, you practised hard, and so, thankfully this happened less and less.
And when you got home, as your mother thanked you for being so fast, you were still licking your lips to get every piece of flavour that remained, and you could take off somewhere and sneakily enjoy the chomp bar you had hidden in your short pockets to avoid prying eyes.

But no, things change, you move on, everyone moves on, you're an adult now and you recognize the quality which exists within a Hunky Dory Cheese and Onion and how it satisfies nearly all the requirements of a satisfactory crisp, flavour, crunch, size.
My vote is for Hunky Dory's Cheese and Onion. Sadly.

(Bet Omackeral loves having to read through all that to make sure the answer is clear :))
