Scritti Politti in the charts there at 31, the band named after one of their songs are futher up the list ...

Wet Wet Wet took their name from the song lyrics of ‘Getting’ Havin’ & Holdin’’ by Scritti Politti which says “it's tired of joking... wet, wet with tears.”

From Westwood to Hollywood, The one thing that's understood,
Is that you can't buy time, But you can sell your soul,
And the closest thing to heaven is rock and roll

    That's a fine song

Weirdly, Paul McCartney had appeared on television with Melanie Coe (the girl whose story inspired She's Leaving Home)

John Barnes should be on the Glasto Legends slot next year, the Godfather of British Rap.

They look like they are all miming to different tracks! Like a silent disco without the headphones.

Very frustrating that BBC are filming and broadcasting so much of the Reading festival live online, but TV output is so limited. That red button feed gets very annoying when it just keeps looping. The coverage of Reading used to be absolutely top class, so many legendary performances have come from BBC's footage in the past. Its a shame they've given in to the internet warriors who complain about 'money been wasted on this, i've no interest in that' nonsense. Like, its been filmed and broadcast online, stick it on BBC4 in HD also please! [/rantover thank you]

Due to holidays and stuff I'm a couple of weeks behind with TOTP, so S-Express are still at Number One.

#I got the pox from you, boom boom boom boom boom boom bang bang#

That Eurovision entry fella though, I've seen less shifty looking convicted sex offenders.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all

Watching post malone, tunes are certainly not too bad. Is all done on the cheap now isn't it - backing tracks for everything, very little live except the vocals. 21 pilots similar but do have drums and a bit of guitar.

    I dunno

    Nice tribute to Keith Flint.

Saw The Foos live when they supported The Prodigy back in 1997 - amazing show.

    :)
