Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which Bond Villain would you confer the honour of killing James Bond

Think about the most intelligent villain with the most common sense.

I would award Scaramanga (Christopher Lee) in "The man with the Golden Gun"

Close second would be the woman, assistant to Max Shrek (Christopher Walken) in "The Living Daylights". Shrek himself, not really, TOO INSANE a character.

Has to be Sean Bean, no? 006 gone bad who not only knew the 00 playbook, but Bonds own ways & thinking. Goldeneye did kinda reduce him to a stock baddie by the end, complete with space laser, but he came close enough to offing Bond given their final fight was more physical than they usually are.

Agree, Sean Bean would have the upper hand over most villains.

I'd give Skyfall's Silva a nod, too, for similar reasons. He should have taken care of Bond in fact in Scotland. Hmmm.

Walken wasn't in The Living Daylights. He was in A View To A Kill. His assistant was Mayday (Grace Jones)

I'd give it to the original dude. Dr. No. He was a weirdo

It’s a wonder it didn’t fall off with the amount of unprotected relations he had... anyhow, I wouldn’t give it to any of them, they all had their chance and blew it, just bloody well shoot him and cut the dramatics I say... if I was pushed though I would give it to the gorilla in skyfall, the lad that poked the mans eyes out at the big criminal meeting

Auric Goldfinger, his interests were simple he liked when the price of gold went up and had a plan to make his stock of it rise in price.
