It happened to me during the week. Also i have seen other people cry here.

Nope. More of a reach-for-the-shotgun type person than a crier when that kinda **** hits.

That said, I've spent a lot of my working career temping and self-employed, and if there's one thing I've learnt: there are other jobs out there.

If I find something to match its benefits and salary and at the same level etc and i get it great ...but until then.

Anyway apparently everyone does it from what i have read. I'm not alone. Its not my workplace its the way the world is.

If i changed it would just be the same somewhere else.

I have tried. Its ok ..i don't mind ....i don't let anyone see.

But that is probably the advice I would give to anyone else.

No but I’m unfortunately not a crier generally. It does make sense though as work can be a stressful and demanding place. I guess most people do but do it in the toilets cubicles.

I sometimes have to go and take a walk to the toilets or a private area for a few deep breaths. I let a couple of tears leak out but not so many that I'd have big red eyes.

It's mainly due to frustration with the way certain tasks in the job were left to me or feeling overwhelmed. I haven't a full years experience yet so I know I will get better.

I've never cried at work; if I start feeling stressed I remind myself that I'd be replaced by the next day, so all a little frivolous.

I have witnessed a handful of people cry at work, mostly do to external factors.

Also witnessed a person straight up stand and leave saying "F this kip" when a person on the phone was being rude.

OMG the stuff ive heard if i am passing the phones or there for any length of time.

Yeah a few times but I was working in the area of rape and sexual abuse so you'd need to be a robot not to be affected sometimes.

Yes, when I got the news my sister had a massive stroke and was in ICU. She thankfully pulled through but was left partially disabled as a result. My boss and colleagues at the time were very supportive and comforting. Boss told me to take as much time off to fly over to visit her as I wanted. Took a week off. Really appreciated that.

Several times alone in the toilets when the bullying by my new boss just got too much.

I nearly did one time 90 per cent of my job were being let go. Boss went through all the names and there was just me and a new lad left and he named me.

The new lad still owed money for tools and stuff he got a sub for when he started. I was there 4 years but boss wanted to make sure he finished docking the other fellas wages.

He only lasted another two weeks but still made me feel horrible.

Once. I had told one of my workmates that o was pregnant. His reaction was better than my mams. Which upset me, in my poor pregnant hormonal state.

When my canary died (really!). T'was 25 years ago now. The poor fecker was 11. I was too embarrassed to tell anyone why I was crying so I said I had a fight with my mother. The second time was the day I went back after maternity leave after having the eldest and I was grand until some poor divil asked me if I was all right.

I cried at work when I received a phone call about the death of our family pet. Hid in the toilet for a while then slinked off home.

Couldn't imagine crying about actual work. If there was something about my job that upset me that much I'd probably be looking for a new one.
