The Degsy, Creepingdeath feud especially.

I always liked Degsy I have to say. Then I met him and thought him an utter... actually no, I found him sound as a pound in person too. Very funny with it. Or I was off me box drunk, or both. :pac: One thing I noted about him is when crap goes down most people ignore it or freeze, some back off, he was one of the rarer types who would be at the front going what is the crap and can I deal with it.

Dav was another like that actually. Now he would be someone who would be about the polar opposite of me in most ways and there's be little enough overlap on many opinions, but what always struck me in my dealings with him online and off and just general observation was he had a genuine human decency going on. He wasn't crawthumping for attention or popularity either like some. He just wanted things to be better in life for people. Now like I said I would have disagreed with much of how he would have reckoned that could be achieved(if at all in some cases), but being decent was his default position. Now I've found the vast majority of people are fairly decent all in, but down the years I've met few enough people with his level and attention to that and who will stand by their position, regardless. I generally tend to stand by the positions I hold because tbh I don't really give a fuck, he stands behind his because he does. His is the harder road to walk and I respect that.
