Buxus going yellow

I have a buxus cone shaped plant that I bought fully grown about 3 years ago. It has been in the same pot since a bought it. This year the leaves are very yellow in places and there seems to be little growth. I am wondering if it plant is infected? Or does it need to be repotted?

I water it at least weekly, it never gets dried out. I got some buxus feed from the garden centre and added this every two weeks for the last two months, however I see no major improvement in growth or yellow leaves disappearing.

read up on box blight - i don't know enough about it to say if you have it, but it's one of the common reasons you could have issues with box.
if you have it, it's probably terminal i think.

Those leaves are dead as opposed to being yellow and is most likely as a result of the harsh winter. Most box plants bought now have been grown under glass in Holland and are always susceptible to this. If you trace back the dead leaves you'll probably find one or two entire stems have died off, cut these out and then continue to feed and water, but it may just have to be replaced.

To update on this, my buxus came back strong and green this year. Here is what I did.

1. Moved them to a more sheltered area of the garden for few months
2. Removed from their pots
3. Cut off some of the roots
