And I don't just mean now when she's 60. I mean EVER. Couldn't see what the big deal was.

I think it's just a thing with celebrities where they create a public image of themselves and use it to their advantage so they often get put on an unrealistic pedastal but can also get the opposite side to that too.

They're public image is very much a character aswell i suppose. It's not to be taken seriously. It's just posters messing and I doubt they would take it seriously either.

Madonna was obviously good looking when younger too. Not fancying someone doesn't make them a "total dog".

Tom Selleck used to be considered an extremely hot older man. Couldn't for the life of me understand why. Now obviously it would be beyond idiotic of me to say he's a dog though - I just don't fancy him.

No I liked that she was an out of the blocks out of her box trailblazer too, about 30 years back when she was genuinely causing all sorts of people to get their knickers in a twist, but then she came back with the whole Kabbalah thing, the OTT effort to change herself up and I just thought “Jesus she’s a dose!” :rolleyes:

Saying that though, “Like a Prayer” encompasses some the best both - her work, attitude, and she does look incredible in the video

Though I do understand for a lot of people she wouldn’t float their boat looks wise, she’s tried a few different ones over the decades you’d imagine there’s almost one for everyone’s taste!
