I used to love a Twilightzonesque show called the Hitchhiker. I recently found it on YouTube but didn't have the patience to complete a full episode.

Motorbike Trials Show Kickstart and Junior Kickstart on BBC1 in the School holidays in the 80s

Loved that show, nearly broke my arm falling off my BMX trying to recreate some of the obstacles.

Well, Santa wouldn't get me a Motorbike so I had to improvise.

    Cracking theme tune too ...

"Best Of The West" which as far as I remember was a single season "Gunsmoke" parody. Essentially all I remember is the villain saying "He's a good man, an honest man. I may have to have him killed."

    The time tunnel

Yes I remember watching this on RTE( I actually have the complete series on DVD now) and other Irwin Allen series, Land of the Giants and Lost in Space. He also created the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea series but this was before my time and I never watched any reruns or DVDs of it.

Once Upon a Time... Life. It was a great way to learn about the human body.

Does anyone remember "Soap"? I used to watch repeats of it in England around 89 or 90. It was a precursor to "Benson". It was ridiculously mad.

nope, as squawker said he had no tail!

it's a thing called "the Mandela effect" where people misremember things.

    More TV related ones.

A Team Vans... Well, apart from not having 'A Team' printed on the side, I pretty sure the van was originally grey and black (with a red stripe) not just black...

No, but I remember Benson well. I used to think that mansion they lived in and that was featured in the opening credits was the White House.

Spot on, many think it was black & red with no grey.

Did RTE broadcast later episodes of The A Team with Robert Vaughan as boss?. Can't recall seeing them.
