    Lost boys.

    Vampires > sharks in horror

Plus, think of the ecological impact on sharks.

    Vote lost boys.

I'm raging Silent Hill didnt get further

When I brought our dog for a walk, I'd always bring the torch, but after watching silent hill, i was so conflicted for months as to whether I should walk with the torch on or off. Off and i didnt know what was going to kill me, but turn it on and I was definitely getting killed!

aliens - aliens would make zombies extinct in a few days

I voted for the lost boys earlier and against Jaws earlier. But in true inconsistent form I'm going to vote Jaws. The suspense of it all was something else. And the theme tune. I've actually cage dived with sharks in South Africa and although big scary beasts nothing like the movie, so Spielberg and Co really made a great horror there. The teenage vampires have met their match in a mechanical rubber fish I'm afraid.

    Dawn of the dead.

I've spent tonight updating my zombie apocolypse plan.

I like aliens, but it's not the classic horror that dawn of the dead is.

The lost boys edges it for me, pure cheesy 80's fun

There's no TV! Have you seen a TV, Mike? I haven't seen a TV. Do you know what it means when there's no TV? - No MTV!

Aliens for me also. Not really a horror but a great sequel to one.

Aliens v zombies. Now there's a movie. But I know how it ends. A win for aliens. A superior life form altogether. And an even more superior film

The Lost Boys. Although it's a bit dated these days, it has a timeless coolness to it. As it happens, there is a horror movie convention in Manchester in october that I'm going to. There is a Lost Boys reunion at it. All the cast (with the exception of Feldman cos he is a douche and Jami Gertz cos she is a billionaire) are going to be in attendance so I've bought myself an original LB onesheet poster that I'm going to get signed by everyone, king of the dorks or what. :pac:

Dawn wins easily for me in the other semi. As I mentioned, I dont consider Aliens a horror movie, as much fun as it is however Dawn is absolutely one and it set the tone for gore and grue in horror movies that followed.

Lost Boys roflstomps (can't believe I get to use that phrase :D ) over Jaws and becomes our first finalist.

Aliens leads 5 - 2, still time for this to be turned around though.

I'm well into the thing here now and it did well to get as far as it did, not brilliant in my opinion. Must have had a few easy rounds early on. Very like aliens but not anywhere near as suspenseful or scary

    I vote Jaws because:
    1. I am a coward. It's the only one of the 32 I have seen
    2. It was one of my 5 for best movie of all time

    I don't belong here :D

The Lost Boys. There are a good few frights in it and also for the end where they take out each vampire and Micheal ends up against David. Then the twist..
