    Ok, calling both now.

Scream and The Lost Boys advance to the quarter finals.

Gonna say The Shining being knocked out is quite the upset.

Twas the number 1 seed in terms of nominations too.

How dare you assume the genderised diminutive of their fathers. Ma is the more acceptable default, because everyone knows if a lady sneezes three times in a row her fanny turns inside out and that's where boys come from.

Stop arguing and vote or else I'm telling all your ma's!!

    Pass on the first one.

The Thing for the second one please.

The Shining is amazing . The Here’s Johnny part was taken from the intro from the Johnny Carson show . But the Shining was actually set 20 years before the Carson show :)

A quiet place. Haven't seen it but the trailer scared me more than RinguSA. Also, Emily Blunt.

The Thing. Visionary effects. That spider head still haunts my house. I mean dreams. It was definitely a dream....?

The ring. Even the nail in the DVD credits terrifies me.

The thing. Cold doggy shape shifters for the win.

Really? Was it set in the past? I thought it was set in contemporary times.

Because it's a good movie, and Poltergeist never appealed.

Poltergeist 2 some of the scariest freakiest **** you will watch. As a young one at least :)

    The Ring , it's just creepy , dark , and unsettling .

    Poltergeist II ,
Reverend Kane was one chilling , creepyass nightmare inducing character .

Sorry to butt in but as a massive horror fan the lack of some bona fide classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween (78) and A Nightmare On Elm Street hurts me in my blackened heart. :(

I was surprised too, I had no nominations for Texas Chainsaw and only one apiece for Halloween and Nightmare.

They should be there imo, but with the rules I'm running they didn't make it:(

The ring - proper freaked .e out when I first saw it

Poltergeist 2, not as good as the first one for me but love Kane as a bad guy

    And weekend competitions suck! :D

The thing because it stars kurt russel. He also stars in big trouble in little china, a classic of the 80's.

But seriously, I just the setting in the thing.

The Thing is a classic and hasnt aged and it has Kurt Russell, it also builds a nice tense atmosphere

The Ring is scary and has great effects
