    Which ones?

The SS only had about 4 or 5 medals. They'd be worth a few bob nowadays.

I'm not familiar or interested in old military stuff, but the few that are in the window at the minute are not expensive at all, 15/20 quid on the little handwritten price tags with string we're talking here. I pass by the shop a few times a day, and there's always a few in the window, alongside an original Polaroid camera, newspapers from various dates of historical importance and various other bric-a-brac. I'll have a gawk in on Monday maybe and ask about the significance of the medals and post back. In saying that, if they are being sold at that price bracket I'd assume that there were plenty issued over the course of the war, so maybe not much of a rarity.

If true it is strange that it hasn’t blown up in the main stream media.

No not strange at all, it wouldn't fit the narrative to call Ming a racist...

I've barely paid attention to him over the last few yrs.

I remember reading he had mis voted the most out of all MEPs. I.E he voted against his own position by mistake.

It is an ancient symbol, it's main themes are balance, equality and non bias. Can you relate to any of these?

Your really pushing your own agenda as far as I can see.

On this side of the world the swastika is a symbol of the Nazi regime. Nothing to do with balance or equality. It symbolises hatred of the Jews.
Before the current trend for identity politics, the bugbear of the left was elite Jew bankers who supposedly ruled the world. This is where the pro Palestinian thing comes from. It's anti Israel or more to the point, anti Jew. Fools like Ming Flanagan would be of this persuasion.

There were a couple of long service medals issued to members of the SS. 4 years being the most common one. Then 8 years, obviously being rarer. Then 12 and a hopeful 25 years, which I doubt anyone got, for obvious reasons.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Long_Service_Award#Twelve_year_award

There's a good chance they're fake, though. The faking business of Third Reich regalia is almost as big as the legit collector stuff.

To be honest, this really isn't an area of mine. So, I couldn't say for sure.

So are you pro Swastika or Anti Swastika ?

How come it is not a symbol of balance and unity? Is it because ,

    a) Hitler was a bit of a chunt?
    b) Nazi Propaganda decided that a great way to entice members was to use an ancient Hindu symbol which spread the message of socialism, conformity and people power?
    c) Ming Flanagan is a closet Nazi?
    d) The Blueshirts are a national embarrassment?

Only one of the answers to the above section is correct.

Failure to answer correctly will mean you will be taken away and shot in the morning.

    You may not confer.

    Who gives a fuck.

He was probably just being an edgy 20 something. Being "ironic".

He has a U.N. flag on the door too, but as far as I know, he's pretty critical of that organisation and the E.U. as well.

Just because there's an image on someone's wall, doesn't mean shit.

Lot of simple wetting their knickers over nothing.

Jesus, I don't even like Ming Flanagan and here I am defending him from AH shite talk. Whatever next.

    It's a Gestapo flag.

If you draw a vertical line from the lowest point, a larger portion of the swastika is on the.....? Is that deliberate?

And if you draw it from the highest point it's also on the right, the swastika looks like it was designed by mc escher.
