You could have met george if you hung around the bushes in Hampstead Heath while he was alive. Im sure he'd have given you a mouthful.

Michael Collins. We'd talk about what he did for Ireland.

And why he didn’t stay in cover like the rest of them at the ambush ?

A drink with Robert Mitchum. Believe he was quite the raconteur.

He wanted to fight the ambushers

Also Gregory Peck, as he's my favourite actor.

I take back the ones I said before.

I'm changing mine to Iggy Pop and David Bowie but mostly Iggy Pop.

Funny enough i would love to have an actual conversation with Morrissey. No pre arranged questions or bull**** just a chat.

Ive had dreams about it! :pac:

Sad to say Morrissey is full of sh1t. A Brexit cheerleading muppet.

Michael Parkinson would disagree with you on that

I wouldn't talk to him about politics I'd be much more interested in his private life and how he feels about certain aspects of his career.

He doesn't do many interviews but any I have seen I always taught he came across as someone who is hiding so much from the world.

Reposting that, because I kept messing it up.

Sir David Niven was supposed to be an absolute gent and very engaging. Also Sir Peter Eustinov was an amazing raconteur.

Federico Tesio - how did you plan the pedigrees of your great racehorses, many unbeaten?
Rodney Dangerfield - tell me about your journey through comedy, good times, bad times.

Oliver Reed, so we can talk about his legendary drinking escapades over a pint of or two.

    Carl Sagan.

Judging by one the first posts in the thread and this I obviously make a mistake with the thread title....

No idea what it was though ha.

Oh dear. I'm afraid you made one of the most annoying grammatical errors ever. It's "could have" or "could've" if you want to contract the two words. "Could of" is never okay.

Ya I didn't even notice my grammar and spelling is ****e in general haha I don't pretend otherwise plus in my defence I was up drinking tequila last night when made the thread haha!

And if he didn't have time for a mouthful perhaps just a careless whisper

    F. Scott Fitzgerald. My favourite writer. I would love to have spoken with him. I feel that he and I would have been similar in the way he thought about the world.

Robin Williams. Such a funny, talented actor, but obviously with his demons. How I'd have loved to have had a chat with him.

I don't recall ever hearing a bad word about him. When he was alive and after he passed I've only ever heard people say glowing things about him.

Nor have I. It just got me thinking lately as I watched Mrs. Doubtfire a couple of weeks ago, then a replay of The Graham Norton Show only last weekend. To look at him you just wouldn't have known how he was suffering. That's just soooo sad. His death was such a huge loss to the world.

I know it was such a shock too. I remember seeing David Letterman get emotional talking about Robin's death on his show and he said how bad he felt not seeing that his friend was suffering, a sentiment shared by many of his friends and family....

JFK, RFK and Marilyn Monroe. I'd say you'd be fairly singed with all the sparks flying!

Very scary how a person has the ability to hide their inner turmoil so well. In reality it could be any of us.
