It needs to be quick whatever about a squash, nobody wants to see Goldberg in a match more than 6 mins

Rey/Andrade was a good match, enjoyed that.

Hard to believe Summerslam is this weekend, and even harder to believe that Shane, Goldberg and Natalya are big parts of featured matches, zero interest in seeing any of them, another Brock/Rollins match doesn't do it for me either.

At least the G1 is still on, watch Okada/Ibushi and White/Naito or Goldberg/Ziggler and Shane/Owens, pretty easy choice.

Totally agree on Seth being stupid. But he was getting "Burn it down" chants so WWE's tactic of trying to garner sympathy for him is working. He looks so fúcking weak though. That's twice in two months Brock has put him in an ambulance and then another effortless beatdown last night. Hated his muted promo too.

He should be asking Becky for tips. She's done the impossible and got me interested in something Natalya-related. I'm curious to see if Canada actually back her over Nattie.

That's a wrestling promo, rapid fire insult after insult. Seth's self pity stuff is, and I hate the word, cringe.

Also, Bliss/Cross coming out in their new matching attire wasn't half giving away the result.

    Beckys cringing too.

i don't know how they got that chant to ever work.

it's so forced, cringey and vacuous. i can't imagine ever wanting to say it, never mind chant it in support of someone.

after that horrific promo I can't imagine why anyone would get behind her! she must have been told to hit the words 'break my arm' and sharpshooter cause that's pretty much all she said!

can defiantly see paul heyman influence this week from start with joe/ray.was watching some clips of between the ropes and you can see clearly from his comments in that about brock/joe/crowd reaction..thought it was good match with ray..thought seth was practicing for a broadway show or something...

Austin walked into the ring two weeks and was instantly the most over guy in the company that night.

Goldberg walked into the ring last night and in 1 minute was instantly the most over guy in the company.

Two guys that haven't been active in the guts of two decades blew every current WWE talent out of the water when it comes to charisma with sheer aura & personality.

They haven't build a star that can do that since Cena 15 years ago when he took over from those two.

Hogan made a good point on Austins podcast. All of the current lot are trained in the same building, by the same people and have their promos written by the same writers.

They are booking their top guys like garbage.

Rollins is an idiot who keeps getting annihilated by a disinterested part timer. Reigns is just sort of there since he came back from his illness and the hokey backstage stuff they are doing with him isn't working.

Shane is getting an bigger push than 95% of the rest of the roster and no one cares about him.

back in the day, people had to learn on the fly home to get over and be a star. these days, you're told how to be a star, and that's it. but what got Becky over won't get Bayley over. Or what got Austin over in the 90s wasn't what got The Rock over. And what got Daniel Bryan over isn't what got CM Punk over.

What WWE try to do is basically rehash the same methods, and hope they can strike gold somehow.

The Rock got over despite 50/50 booking, and actually probably losing more often that he should. so Vince thinks it works.

Austin got over by fighting with an authority figure. hence you get the heel boss or heel GM over and over and over a-fúcking-gain.

Cena could take any shítty fruit pebble level verbiage and make it just about work. so they give others the same shítty verbiage.

Daniel Bryan got over despite being beaten, and constantly coming up short. so they thought they could do the same with Roman when they got desperate to get him over, and had him lose to Lesnar for 3 years.

Looks like they decided to give the Becky/Seth thing a rest, thankfully. They didn't ask her about his condition. And Becky just coming out cutting off Joe was funny.

Not sure if they should've had Joe concerned for Roman. The best thing would be Joe in the ring and show Roman arriving and seeing the car hit. I really hope the reveal isn't done on Smackdown with the match on Sunday.

And with regard that incident, they showed what happened before and during the break, yet the segment a bit before had Bray attack Angle while 2 guys were down outside, before going to break, only to come back to the New Day coming out. Where was the fallout from that segment? Do we just assume the match was cancelled?

I was looking at the women in the tag match and, apart from the Kabuki Warriors, all are characters I enjoy. For The Kabuki Warriors, we just haven't been given the chance.

Natalya and Trish were nearly wearing matching ring gear, though Trish wore it better.

Watching RAW for the first time in a very long time.

Confused to see AJ as US champ with the lads back with him, called the OC. As a trio though I was glad to see them together.

No idea what Bray Wyatt is doing and with Mankind's finisher.

Why are New Day on RAW if they are Smackdown Champs?

I am sure I will be more confused as the show goes on.

Obviously the womens tag division is going to be a big priority going forward.

Whenever I think about Goldberg & Ziggler I immediately abbreviate it into Zoidberg in my head

They were an afterthought to shut Sasha and Bayley up.

I remember TNA tag team women's division being poorly executed as well. Most people probably only remember Eric Young and ODB holding those belts.

    Must've added the sound.

    1 min 45

Alexa is a throwback to the Divas era of poor wrestling.

With that said, I guess that makes me a throwback to 13 year old me because I don't care since she looks so good.

What is the actual point of War Raiders at this stage? They get zero reaction and squash non descript jobbers. It's boring.

She's clearly slapping her thigh to make the sound as most others do too.

I'm actually surprised with that punch. That's usually when the camera cut would happen. There have been times I've watched for the slap when super kicking or something and they would cut to another angle. Or else the camera would be positioned so one of the bodies is blocking the miss.

I don't like the punch anyway. She's not exactly Big Show or even Lacey

Kinda interested where they go with Rollins and Becky's challengers now. Like after every PPV there's rumblings of Sasha returning but if she doesn't, the field is sparse for Becky.

Rollins? Roman? Maybe if he wasn't concerned with his murder plot. Braun? His star has faded a little. Drew? I'd be okay with that.

What is the actual point of about 80% of the roster to be honest.

To make Roman look strong brother

That 80% is all part of the conspiracy to take out Roman
