    There was a furniture shop at Cobh Cross about 37 years ago and, for the life of me, I can't remember the name.

    Was greenwood the massive one. Used to hate being walked around by the parents looking for some tacky mahogany nest of tables or the type of stuff you'd see a doily on.

    MFI..."Making Fools of the Irish" was what I always heard it referred to as back then.

    MFI is the one,!!. I remember shortly after getting married we bought some chairs there. Couldn't remember the name.
    The chairs lasted years!!
