Why isn't there a sponsor on the City tops?

Because Satan isn't a physical entity?

Nobody’s been great but Henderson has been woeful so far.

Can add Alexander Arnold to that too.

If we lose this place is going to be unbearable

Origi continuing from where he left off last season. Plenty of bluster with limited result.

Fairly sure he left off scoring an important goal last year.

Salah and Firmino looking pretty sharp after a very short pre-season. Just the finishing that’s lacking at the moment.

    Looking pretty good. Not great.

It's worth remembering that this is the best team we'll likely face this season (albeit not at their best yet, but then, neither are we).

Salah looks sharp. Apart from when he has to shoot.

**** off Pep. Nothing wrong with that

Pep knowing the camera is on him again

Has he ever not gotten a warning from the ref while playing against us?

    Great play Origi.

I feel like Trent should be fizzing his set piece deliveries right in on top of Bravo. He’s always got a mistake in him and could easily palm it out to one of ours. Those deep ones aren’t working today.

Midfield looking poor for us tbh, gini in particular having a nothing game.

Alexander Arnold’s set pieces have been poor this half.

This is exactly one of those games we've been talking about where our fullbacks aren't at it and we need a midfielder to step up. Maybe Ox or Keita off the bench.

Unfortunately he has there games (particularly away from home) where he's totally anonymous. No mistakes, but nothing of note either. I'm sure the stats will show the ground he's covered, but it feels like he's been carried and we're short a mid.

It's been a good game. City have edged it, but the base of the post has kept it from being 1:1.

Midfield and defence not at it at all today.

Two best players have been the two who only got back last weekend. Mo and Bobby. Maybe a bit fresher than the others who have been doing a lot of heavy training.

It's why Mo, Bobby and Mane are the life of this team going forward. Pity we didn't go out and get another front 3 option, Origi is likely to miss the end product too often.

Don't support either team but since there's no match thread...hard to watch so many passes going back to Bravo, or even to the back four. Rodri has been the worst for this. Obviously this is what they're going for but as a neutral it can be frustrating to watch.

Bit frustrating - don't seem to be able to get any dominance -midfield could do with a shake up - Hendo off for Keita, maybe try a 4-4-2 and take Origi off for Ox? Left side looks a bit vulnerable too - maybe Joe off for Matip. Still in it....

The more defensive midfield 3 works fine when the fullbacks can play their game but City are smarter than most and are really pushing Andy and TAA back as far as they can. If one of the 3 is to come out I'd imagine it'll be Gini, probably for Ox.

I see it being reported that Arsenal are the English team being linked with the loan move for Coutinho.

I’d whip Henderson and Gini off for Ox and Keita.

Also, with Mane, its harder to push them back on that flank.

Origi does not scare them the same way Mane would.
