He since few days I have a wierd knocking coming from clutch/gear box.

My clutch was changed arround 3 000 km ago, it was all fine up to now. Other than that clutch works perfectly, just this wierd knocking when u press it in to the ground, when u let the clutch go the sounds dissappears.

I'ts like even very fast ticking.

    the car i s renault clio 1.2, 16v

    thanks for any answers,

It's the clutch release bearing. Had the same on my 335i and 6MPS.

The only way to solve it is to have the gearbox taken out and the bearing replaced.

Thanks a lot for answer ! You know my clutch was changed so this bearing obviously was not a part of the new clutch no?

No it's a different part doesn't come in the box with the clutch plate, while they were in there it was probably worth doing for the sake of it, probably under €20 for the part. Sits right infront of the clutch cover they had easy access to it, now the gearbox and clutch need to come out again.

To be fair, most clutch kits come with a new release bearing, youd nearly have to shop around to try and find a disc and pressure plate that comes without a bearing.

Assuming this is a Clio Mk3, the gearboxes in these are generally a bit crap, I wouldn't loose any sleep over a rattly release bearing unless it's chronically noisy or you can hear it worsening over time. Some brands of bearings just tend to rattle a little.
