Campervan ticket arrived today. Hurrah! Didn't realise it's open from Thursday. We wouldn't have the van on Thursday anyway but does anyone know if the area will fill up on Thursday? Are we gonna be shoved down the back if we arrive on Friday lunchtime?

They've always allowed the campervans in on Thur. Otherwise a traffic nuisance on Fri. If there's any chance you can change arrangements and get the van early you would save yourself much bother.

I've found the earlier the better on Friday to arrive into the CV site, if Thursday isn't an option, ideally before Friday 1pm.

Yep - Been down the back and it adds another bit to an already long walk.

Although its good to take different routes through and check out others set ups

Yeah, part of me wonders if the reason he cancelled for that is to do with another appearance this year

10,000mah powerbank in aldi for 15e
should be good for about 2.5 charges
its wireless too! (optional) which is interesting
but i'd say the wireless element might use more power itself

    cheers

Bicep would be class. Nice gap in their schedule too that weekend. Play Belfast on the (NI) Bank Holiday on the Sunday prior.

Dream announcement; Tame Impala, The Chemical Brothers, Bicep.

Likely; The Academic, Gavin James, Coronas.

They dont rebook medium sized acts very often, do they? Even irish ones. More likely: The Academic, Kodaline, Bastille

Probably right. But same type of scutter based ice cream, slight variation on the flavour.

Hey I like the Academic! Not fair to be throwing them in with the more poppy stuff.

Theyre pretty poppy to be fair.

They (Academic) opened for the Rolling Stones in Croker.
They weren't really a fit for that day imo but gave it their all, and were quite good.
They're along the lines of Two Door Cinema Club (inoffensive guitar pop).

I think I'm a bit passed the superliking days!

I'd still take them over the others given the choice.

Today FM saying EP fans should check the today FM instagram at 7:15.

It'll be tomorrow or Monday for sure.... though it might be next Tuesday or Wednesday, but wouldn't rule out Thursday either...
