Ffs...the thread will be closed with all this nuicence posting!

Post a success story or don't bother posting, easy

There was a bloke I went to school with called Cecil , he played for the other side , if ya get my drift.
Anyway his opening line when chatting someone up on a night out , was "would you like to know the key to success ? " , quickly followed by " hi I'm Cess".

    Were they Ward Sisters?

That's what happens when you name your kid Cecil.

Sorta like naming your son Bruce and expecting him not to hang around public toilets asking patrons would they like a Brucie Bonus.

Cecil? I knew a Cecil one time. Was he a brother of Basil Twicenightly by any chance?

I wanted to share a success story with everyone, my cousin has recently completed his Advanced Barber Diploma in Dublin and now is managing a high end gents grooming lounge in NYC and is earning a whopping 6k.

Unsurprisingly, he put in a huge amount of work over the 12 weeks and has clearly distinguished himself as a skilled barber. He specialises in fades.

It was a long journey as he spent a long time on the dole and struggled to work. Its just a shame hes moved to NYC, now i will have to pay for my haircuts

Does anyone have any similar successful stories they would like to share?

    Did he go by boat?

Johnny needed to get some milk from the shop.
He walked to the shop, purchased and milk and returned home.

    Success!

He is probably still expecting tips!

I'd say he's getting plenty of 'tips'.

Very true, it's no secret that cost is huge in NYC, apparently 100k a year is nothing special over there

Ya I remember working out once how much it would take to keep the same lifestyle in NYC compared to London.
    It would take 160k USD.

Rent, taxes, general cost of living is crazy.

Renting a 2 bed apartment in a reasonable area could easily set you back 4k a month.

If the definition of success is something like living on 6k a year in NY then yes it has.
