    what the hell has colour to do with any of this.
    black, brown white whatever has no bearing on being deviant.
    my first concern would be the authorities getting a true and accurate picture of what occurred.
    there have been enough reports of females making false complaints so that their behaviour isnt questioned.


    peoples willingness to jump to the conclusion that descriptions should be issued immediately makes me think some watch too much tv.

    As you know, there's always the part in the episode where they detail the description of the unsub, their habits, personal ticks, and other wild insights they gleaned from a piece of a bubblegum wrapper the perp left at the crime scene.

    That old chestnut. I wondered when someone would be dense enough to drag it up in this thread. :rolleyes:

    It would be great if you could provide details and stats of your assertion please, Rubberchikken? I can't believe you are for real. Since when is the behaviour of female complainants of rape and sexual assault not questioned?

    I think it's almost comical that something serious like this happens and all people do is jump to conclusions as the ethnicity and then argue with each other over who is racist or not. Or, use the situation to make the same old comments about the courts being too lenient blahdy blah.

    Young teenagers on holidays gathered late at night unsupervised in a remote area that has been recently the subject of local concern due to anti social behavior.
    Three young females present allege sexual assault.
    Gardai find allegations “credible”.
    Tabloid alleges Gardai investigating mysterious “gang” from Kilkenny.
    That is all.
    But these facts like all Chinese whispers ever it’s taken on a life of its own and is galloping out of control.
    ‘‘Twas the brown fellas what done it.
    The young wans were raped”
    Because all rapists are furrin, and 14 year old girls always tell the truth.

    Well if as the papers say, they are a “Leinster based sex gang”, then I’d imagine they have done this type of thing before. Putting out a description or photofit might jog someone’s memory, might be someone’s neighbour, might get them caught before they ruin someone else’s life.

    But shure we wouldn’t want that, would we?? FFS.
