That doesn't make sense though. Play her for heel heat but pipe in cheers for her? She definitely gets cheered.

She is getting cheered alright but not to the extent of the levels we are hearing as that crowd is dead.

Look at all the tight shots of the ring and wrestlers all show they aren't showing much of the crowd at all as they are dead, The wide angle crowd shots show a really really quiet bunch.

The Man left her Man get the beat down from Brock.

I'm supposed to hate Brock for these attacks I suppose but I just find them entertaining. I'd watch him mangle people every week.

    She was on the jacks.

Edit: Alright, the stretcher F5 looked fùcking brutal.

Can Graves make up his mind if he is a heel or a face colour man, The constant switching ten times a show is just annoying.

Opinion seems to be that this was the best Raw in a while and I'd agree. Maria with the 24/7 belt was great fun, good matches in the tag and gauntlet and chaos at the end of the show.

The 24/7 belt is the most consistently good thing they've done in forever, and by most reports, it was forced upon them by the Network. I love Maria, and while I like the Truth/Drake stuff, I'm glad to finally get something new going with that title. Mainly because I'm curious to see who takes it off her.

I've got little interest in Brock/Rollins tbh, but the F5 onto the stretcher was awesome.

I like they are pushing new people; Cedric getting a big moment to shine, Ric getting focus too.

Since Heyman has come in, it feels they are more aware they've got a massively diverse cast to play with, rather than to use as time fillers between Roman and Shane segments.

Speaking of, no Shane on the show. Sure its a coincidence that the episode improved without that angle to drag it down.

Technically the unborn child can become 24/7 champion if they bring a ref to make the pin while she is asleep and no one could defeat the child until its born because the shoulders would never touch a surface.

These are the kind of technicalities I need in my wrestling.

    Ye can keep your G1!

And new Raw Tag Team Champions

    "California here we come
Right back where we started from"

Now how to get the title off Maria. Though is she champion if she's not cleared to compete?
And how pointless was that mixed tag match when the women barely did anything?

This maria kanellis Weekly segment is becoming as irritating as Fcuk

Corbin should just punch her in the face and pin her, he's hated as it is like. Though seeing as she mentions her doctors appointment I think a good hospital brawl will happen, title doesn't even have to change hands as you could do skits of people following Mike and Maria around during the days like have wrestlers hiding in the background while they're out shopping for baby stuff or at prenatal classes.

They should keep the belt on her for a bit, change up the storylines a bit from Drake constantly following R Truth. For a good hospital brawl you could have Drake show up pretending to be a doctor, have Mike kick him out of the room where they bump into R Truth dressed as a nurse and while they argue outside you see a few wrestlers in full gear checking out rooms holding flowers and gifts pretending they're visiting people and have them brawl in the hallway. Everyone gets arrested and spends the night in WWE jail which gives you skits for Tuesday nights Smackdown.

The hospital brawl is a good idea. They could do something like Austin and McMahon back in the day. A masked nurse places their hand on her shoulder and the other masked nurse quietly counts 1-2-3.

So Becky is teaming with her moral enemy tonight.

Typical WWE if it happened more that two weeks ago it didn't happen.

Reckon it'll be a quick "How can these two co-exist?!" tag match before it all breaks down because of their dislike of each other.

IIconics defending the titles in a four-way versus Kabuki Warriors, Mandy/Sonya and Bliss/Cross also announced. Guessing Alexa and Nikki win.

Rikishi up to his old tricks again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,453 ✭✭✭ThePott

Lol Rikishi was trending on twitter

The Women's Tag titles are such an after thought it's sad.

Delighted Goldberg is getting a chance to make that last match right.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,699 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Seth Rollins might be the stupidest babyface of all time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Crowd seemed pretty dead going off the YouTube highlights. The Iiconic's lost the tag titles in a match where they were eliminated first, fitting end to a reign that might have just made those titles mean significantly less than the comedy 24/7 title.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,956 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

I actually thought that was another good Raw.

The Seth stuff sucks (he looks like such a loser), but I'm enjoying mostly everything else.

The women's tag titles are on a team who we know the writers will write for each week. Joe continues to cut great promos. Andrede vs Rey was fantastic (and I'm guessing is building towards a Hair vs Mask match?). Goldberg got a savage reaction.

There were a few things to dislike, sure. There will be on any three hour show. But I thought there was a lot of positive things on the show.

i will say that Goldberg played his role perfectly..

Goldberg's "Guess what son? YOU'RE NEXT!" had all the delivery and authenticity that others could only dream of. it actually made me want to see him kick Ziggler's ass.

even HBK's "it's not me..." when Ziggler assumed Shawn was his opponent was light years ahead of what we normally see. they're little things, but they're important little things when you're looking for a confrontation to be authentic.

That Seth segment with the "emotional" speech was the pits. So corny.... Someone should overdub some sad piano over it
