Is there a better show than Forensic Files on Netflix? For me the answer is no.

Yeah it was mostly decent but I cringed hard at that one point. Toe curling cringe.

American Made. Starring Tom Cruise as a drug-running pilot who makes $millions working for Pablo Escobar, Nicaraga’s Noriago and the CIA. And it’s all true! Good movie. :D

Watched the first 3 episodes of "Another Life" wow, just wow
Its so so bad, way worse than so bad its good territory.

How this level of talent and budget was squandered this way defies logic. I felt like I was watching a tax break being filmed. Or possibly an experiment in allowing an AI to write a script. Perhaps the result of a competition where 100's of school children submitted ideas for a show, all of which were filmed.

    - The acting is cringingly bad
    - Direction is all over the place
    - Plot elements from every well regarded sci-fi movie from the last 20 years is are literally retooled, re-shot, and rebroadcast every episode with no interconnectivity between them
    - Characters are wafer thin, but you cant say that is because they are servicing the plot, because there is no plot.
    - You cant really say characters make illogical choices, their actions seem to be so incomprehensible that they seem to be completely random.

The character/guy was featured in Narcos too for a while if I recall correctly.

Watched that last night. Whilst it was an enjoyable enough film I feel that I've seen that type of movie a lot of times before.

Schitt's Creek is one I started watching yesterday aswel. Mega rich family relocate to a dump of a village that the father bought as a joke years previously. Very easy watch with some great characters

This is one of those in the bracket of consistent chuckles, rather than set ups for belly laughs; but sometimes that fits the bill perfectly.

Watched the first few episodes of "Orange is the New Black" S07 over the weekend. So far, I have to say its better than previous seasons, but it is much darker than it used to be, like really darker. All the ICE stuff, and people dealing with life terms, it makes for heavy heavy watching.

I was such a huge fan of this show but I gave up in the middle of the last season...it really was dragging (I even made it through the prison riot season!).

Iron Cowboy - Decent documentary following the Iron Cowboy, a guy who ran 50 Ironman races in 50 states in 50 days.
There was a bunch of stuff for him, his family and team to overcome and we get a look at some of those things.

Watched that last night actually, it clocked in at an appealing 1hr, 15 minutes, ideal for a sunday nights entertainment.

I enjoyed it, but I felt it could have done with a bit more info on the planning, sponsors, etc, it went straight to the feat itself and only gave a cursory bit of background info on the other stuff.

Watched the great hack last night. Tbh it was a bit too tin foil hat for me. The main witness in it especially, Britney Kaiser, used language like you'd swear she was in a spy film.

All in all it is an ok watch but I expected more in terms of the theme the preview depicted.

That's because there was no planning :D
You could see that at the start of day 2 when they didn't have his gear right or bike assembled.

One thing that I focused on was the general mess and how unordered and messy things were in the RV throughout the whole thing.

The new miniseries called The last Tsars is really good. I'd say it's a similar approach to The Crown but with a documentary purpose.

Too true. I read a very good article about Cambridge Analytica last year, and this documentary is getting good reviews, so I'll give it a watch.

Is it worth watching the last season of OITNB before the current one? I gave up on it but wouldn't mind getting back into it as the reviews of the new one are better.
