I knew the moment I heard the ref was from kilkenny that we were going to have a hard battle but this is ridiculous, that ref is disgusting

So you think he got the call and then decided to let the play continue on just for the sh1ts & giggles??

Supposedly it takes 15 secs, he is so incompetent I am suggesting he forgot to blow sooner, which could have avoided the ball ending up in the Wexford net. I've no idea why he disallowed the first goal

Thought it was a free out myself.

It would have been if he hadn't taken the 3 or 4 steps before going into the tackle.

I know it's a rule that's rarely enforced, but he took at least six steps for the disallowed goal.

Obviously the angle on TV isn't clear but it doesn't look to me that the ball cleared the bar.

Can see Tipp running out of steam with about 20 to go

Looked like Hogan's hand was a little away from the bar but what can you do.

Surely Wexford can't keep this pace up either (hopefully anyway!).

    Exciting second half ahead.

I thought Hawkeye only judges between uprights not over the bar, also tipps first goal should have been allowed, disgraceful.

Whatever about the hawkeye point, there was absolutely nothing wrong with Tipps disallowed goal

None except as the game would have had to happen with a kick out (what you call it in hurling). Wexford players would have been set and back

Where did you hear 15 seconds?
The Sunday Game said 30 seconds

There was. It happened from an incorrect resumption of the game..

But the ref played on. Why can’t he allow the goal after the event, just like he awarded the point?

But he did touch it. No way that ball was over. He can't catch the ball with the whole thing over the bar. Not a chance.

Of course you can. How many mm is a sliotar? You can easily catch it from behind the line.

Not at the height it was clearing the crossbar. Human arm can't do what's suggested.

Tipp have had two disallowed goals, he means the first one

Hawkeye takes on average 30 seconds, this took 32 apparently so it’s not that much longer. It seems like it took longer as the ball was back in play. Usually when it’s needed the ball is dead anyway so everyone is waiting.

I’m going to back Hawkeye being correct rather than those here saying it wasn’t over based only on a shot from a bad camera angle

By that logic, it you called the play back for every missed foul, we would have scores ruled out all day long.

I'm in the stands and the Tipp fans are in disbelief. Not just the two goal calls. Everything else too. Reading through some of the reaction here at half time but from the stands I've never seen anything as biased.

I thought Kilkenny got rode by the ref yesterday but this is on a different level again.

It’s not really, is it? Ball was over the bar so it had to be called back.

I mean it clearly is given the amount of debate about it already.

Tipperary rode for two goals so far, Cleere is a kilkenny man, should never have been given the job.

But Hawkeye only tracks ball flight and if it's between the posts. Ugh way hogans wrists were, and not touching the crossbar, there's no way it was over the bar

Anyone who knows hurling knows the intense rivalry of kk and tipp , it was unfair to give this game to the kk man

I kind of agree. Play resumed. At that moment in time, and the moments after, play was resumed.

It doesn’t just track whether it was between the posts. It tracks everything.

Hawkeye isn't there to judge distance over crossbar hence why its not used for goals Hawkeye shouldn't have came into it.
