    You mightn't.

But it's not possible to be declared legally blind without some form of independent medical certification.

You - quite rightly - can't self ID as blind.

how would you know? Throw a ball at them and see if they catch it? Why would you not just accept a person telling you they have an issue without proof?

That's true, but they don't have to carry around a certification to prove it to people.

    I know that.
Its also reported that it is more high risk to operate on the female body transing to a man

It in most articles I read.
    Its like a mantra.

So if someone wants to wave that as an argument at least produce the data.

Topless-OK youth LGBTQ2S+ swim proposal delayed by Township of Langley
The event, proposed by 32-year-old transgender activist Jessica Yaniv – formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv – was aimed at those age 12 and up, with no upper age limit, and would prohibit the youths’ parents and caretakers from attending

    Let's introduce some controversy.

Someone that "changes" gender to either man/woman. Let's keep it simple, say for example John goes under all the treatment and surgery, and now decides to be known as Jane. If for some reason, Jane was cloned.. .. .. Is the clone going being to be a clone of Jane or John?

In short: you can perform as many mutilations to your body as you wish, but you can't change your DNA, regardless of what sort of human engineering you do to your body.

Nobody has suggested you can change your DNA.

Because some people are absolutely full of crap.

If I look at someone and every single cue, visual, auditory and so on tells me I'm dealing with a man, they're a man as far as I'm concerned. If I don't get the slightest hint of something else, I'm going to do the same and more than likely spot the difference between a woman who was born a woman and a man who may in the rarest, most unusual of cases get close to passing as a woman. Most never get anywhere close to that, no matter which way they're transitioning.

But aside from all the feelings and rights and all the rest of the crap we're hearing about now, nature is what nature is. A woman is born as such. A man is born as such. I feel sorry for anyone who finds themselves in the position where they feel they should be something else and if they want to do something about that to soothe their own mind, alright then. But I don't, shouldn't have to and never will call a man a woman or vice versa when asked which gender someone is to my logical, critical thinking mind.

That's nature and common sense, not transphobia.

    .

To be fair to the township they have been dealing with her filings for a number of years now

Eg the chicken fillets and ballgown video

So once she fills in the paper work they have to manage it under the rules

Who's asking for trans people to carry around a certification to prove things to people?

We're just saying that if you're male, you can't decide to be female, like how if you can see, you can't just decide to be blind. And either way, you have to comply with societal norms around what you actually are, not what you think you are.

Plenty of trans people, pre op and post op, would pass for their chosen gender easily. And like it or not you would have no issue calling them by that pronoun because you wouldn't know better. So why not just go with the flow on the others?

Also, that is transphobia. The "nature" argument is such nonsense. People do things every day that is not natural.

    Bollox.

    Jonathan Yaniv is a man.

That is not transphobia. That is simple fact. And trying to shout it down as hate speech is despicable.

Ow.... owww.... That... that actually hurts. Jesus..........

Nature is nonsense is it? Tell me this, are you a human? Yes? Well what if you wake up tomorrow wanting to be a dolphin? Does that make you a dolphin? No? Why? Oh right, BECAUSE OF YOUR DNA! F@~!!

    NATURE!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm gonna take my leave before I say something I regret.. .. .. .. ..

Do some more research on that
The litigent beleives she has female dna

And there are a lot of people like to support that idea too

    To be fair

To be fair, why didn't they just tell her straight out, put your proposal up beside the flag pole.

Can I pedo in public as I think I'm a woman? There is no thinking about the proposal. Even submitting the application should be enough to get you carted away.

How about a study without the bias of the reseacher being trans and litigating on trans discrimination?

    ..
Because they have a budget to manage and she has a history of OCD/stalker like behaviour and loves to litigate. So its easier to let the policy manage her interactions

    Yeah, but why not?

If people were 100% honest 100% of the time then no problem. Humans are not 100% honest and some of them are devious, you’d want to be fairly naive to believe anything without questioning it to some extent or without concrete proof.

How does one "act like a woman"

We need to be getting rid of these gender roles and stereotypes, not reinforcing them

Men and women are different. It's ok to admit that.
