Currently trying to redesign a kitchen and wondering if posters who have done likewise and have any tips or advice. Especially about modern kitchens and their features- are there features that really appeal and others that annoy you? Storage space that is difficult or easy to access ingredients? if anybody is stuck with a nuisance plug just cut it off and rewire. I have extended the leads on some of things. Obviously you have to be competent electrically.

I was recently surprised to see the power cord that came with a <5A device had a 13A fuse in it.
