Looks like a load of rubbish to me!

So, colleges should give everyone firsts/2.1s to get a higher ranking?

And, obviously, higher points will be needed to go to unis in Dublin than to other unis, due to the fact that 1/3rd of the Irish population lives there. This in turn means that students will have had, on average, higher points at Dublin unis.
