Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ETF for non-domiciled and tax resident

    Hi

    I have €20,000 lump sum and €1,000 ongoing monthly amount that I would like to invest for the long term (15 to 20 years)

    I am thinking an ETF global fund as it's low cost, globally diversified and passive such as Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (EUR)

    I am Irish tax resident and non-domiciled.

    Is it possible to buy this through a UK broker in Euro?

    What would be the tax implications?

    If you can, just buy an s+p tracker, global etf will be 60% U. S anyway
