    Surely if he wore orange just on the greens it'd be taken in the spirit of reconciliation and co-operation.

    It all depends on what way you take it. On the one hand he is being aware of the sensitivities of wearing orange, on the other it has nothing to do with his tradition so I feel he is slightly compromising himself. He probably just doesn't want to disrespect anyone and enjoy his golf.

    It is a classic damned if you do and damned if you don't scenario.

    that would be a bigger problem if it was after round 3. With 3 rounds to go a lot more can happen.

    Just on the colours point -I wonder why Shane Lowry so often wears all black gear . He looks like a funeral director going around.
    Is he modelling himself on Gary Player ..or is it a 'lucky' colour ? Whatever , I wish he'd brighten up his golf apparel.
