I’m worried about Mayo’s energy levels and the fact at least 3 players are half fit

That was a good game! At 60 minutes it wasn't a lopsided game

It's not a 60 minute game though. Its 70+. That's why you'd hear some players refer to the last 10 as Championship minutes. They're the difference between the best and the rest and those minutes showed for Meath today and Cork yesterday.

What's the attendance for the hurling double header at Croker?

I know that. But that wasn't a lopsided game, Meath gave a decent account of themselves, did you expect Meath to have so many goal chances, i didn't.

At 60 minutes Donegal looked a bit panicky, they closed it out well, smashed the Meath kickout, but Donegal wont be happy with that performance, particularly at the back, they probably wanted a bigger goal difference.
I know there's a gap and I understand the championship quarter, but that was an enjoyable game IMO.

Lots for Donegal to work on, they got a test passed it.

That Kerry jersey is like this Man Utd jersey from years ago

His bloody Jersey is clashing with Kerry ,(for me anyway)

If people are happy for game to be seen as close with a 12 point winning margin, Gaelic football is in bad health
The game is 75 mins not 60. Great games go the distance,

Kerry still look vulnerable when run at
Their forward line is on fire though

The referee should be wearing all white.

Good to hear the free taker not being booed (so far)

Clifford gets some very soft frees. Same craic against Cork. You can't touch him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,176 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Worried
Midfield injuries coming home to roost
They only have to mark AOS or keep the kickouts away from him

Ref riding Mayo here. But Mayo got everything against Armagh so hard to feel sorry for them.

I think if I said in March that the Cork footballers would be in the championship longer than the hurlers this year I’d have been excommunicated from the county!

Mayo seem to be inflicting enough damage on themselves. Couple of harsh decisions against Kerry in the last few minutes.

    Clarke is some shot stopper.

Tbf, he took about 20 steps and held onto it on the ground before O Shea came in on top of him. Free out all day long.

Kerry well in control so far.

Vaughan needs the curly finger. Neither use nor ornament.

    Mayo's midfield is non existent

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,109 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now
