Well if you’re not going to compare like with like then there isn’t much of an argument really.

If I’m guessing correctly, I think you’re including line rental in the cost of internet access here, and ignoring the fact that it isn’t included in the cost of internet access in your link. If I were to take your top option as an example, Sky - the cost of broadband isn’t that much more expensive here than it is in the UK. £27 is about €30, and an average download speed of 59Mb.

I pay €35 for the 100Mb broadband and €30 for line rental with Sky here. When you factor in the cost of line rental, I’m sure it would bump up the monthly cost of internet access in the UK too.

I think the price of broadband is cheap. I am with VM on their 240mb with calls package. 6 months half price €25. I used to pay a lot more when adsl first arrived for 2mb.

No, the total monthly cost is about €30.

Here the wholesale cost is (?)€29 before operator costs and profit.

But the UK has lots of big cities and we have lots of places like Gweedore so its not really a fair comparison. Im sure you can move there if you want though gussieg. Get in before brexit and all.
